How SchoolGo handles information.
This page covers this website and the main ways the SchoolGo service protects school information.

This website
You can read this website without giving us any information. It has no enquiry form, no sign-up and no advertising trackers.
The page loads its typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to fetch it.
When you email us
If you write to [email protected], we receive what you choose to send, such as your name, your school and your message. We use it to reply and to arrange a demonstration. We do not add you to a mailing list. You can ask us to delete your messages at any time.
Schools using SchoolGo
Your school is in charge of its records. It decides who is included, which role each person has and which features are switched on. SchoolGo processes that information on the school's behalf.
- Access follows roles. Each person sees only what their role allows. Parents see only the children linked to their email address.
- Shared screens are cautious. The Board shows counts and activities, and hides student names unless the school chooses to show them.
- Schools are kept apart. Each school's records are separate from every other school's.
- Documents stay private. Uploaded documents and photos can be opened only through a link that expires within a minute.
- Sign-in is passwordless. People sign in with their email and a one-time code. Codes are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form.
- Important actions are logged. Approvals and corrections are recorded with who made them.
- No location tracking. SchoolGo records what staff confirm, such as an Enter or Exit. It does not track anyone by phone or GPS.
Some schools are piloting staff check-in with face recognition. It is used only with the staff member's consent, a manual check-in is always available, and it is not used for students.
Where information is stored
SchoolGo's database and files are hosted with Supabase in Singapore. Schools can also choose to keep documents in their own Google Drive. We do not sell information or use it for advertising.
Questions about a record
To see or correct information about yourself or your child, please ask your school first. It controls the record and can usually fix it directly. For anything else, write to [email protected] and we will help.
